Terms of Service

Last updated: February 16, 2025

By using our platform, you agree to these terms of service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Omaha Repair Hub ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

User Responsibilities

As a user of Omaha Repair Hub, you agree to:

  • Maintain Accurate Information: Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information in your profile, job postings, and communications. Keep your contact information up to date.
  • Professional Conduct: Treat all users with respect and professionalism. Communicate clearly and respond to messages in a timely manner.
  • Honest Representation: Accurately represent your skills, qualifications, and work experience if you are a service provider. Provide accurate job descriptions if you are posting work.
  • Compliance with Laws: Ensure all activities on the Platform comply with local, state, and federal laws. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses or permits for your work.
  • Account Security: Maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Prohibited Activities: Do not use the Platform for any illegal activities, to post fraudulent jobs, to harass other users, or to circumvent our payment system.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Payment Terms

All transactions on Omaha Repair Hub are processed securely through our escrow system to protect both job posters and service providers.

How It Works

  • Job Posting: Job posters create listings describing the work needed and budget range.
  • Bidding: Service providers submit bids with their proposed pricing and timeline.
  • Agreement: When a job poster accepts a bid, both parties agree to the terms including scope of work and payment amount.
  • Invoice Payment: Service providers create invoices for completed work. Job posters review and pay invoices through the Platform.
  • Secure Processing: All payments are processed through secure payment processors. We do not store sensitive payment information.

Fees and Charges

Omaha Repair Hub may charge service fees on transactions. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. Payment processing fees may also apply.

Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted through our dispute resolution process. We review each case individually based on the circumstances and evidence provided by both parties.

Dispute Resolution

We strive to facilitate positive interactions between users. However, if disputes arise, we have established a process for handling conflicts:

Step 1: Direct Communication

We encourage users to first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication via our messaging system. Many issues can be resolved through clear communication and mutual understanding.

Step 2: Platform Mediation

If direct communication does not resolve the issue, either party may request mediation from Omaha Repair Hub. To initiate mediation:

  • Contact our support team at oshsupport@omahasharehub.com
  • Provide detailed information about the dispute including relevant messages, photos, and documentation
  • Both parties will have an opportunity to present their perspective

Step 3: Resolution

Our team will review all evidence and communications to reach a fair resolution. Possible outcomes may include:

  • Full or partial refunds
  • Additional work requirements
  • Payment releases
  • Account warnings or restrictions

All dispute resolution decisions are made at the sole discretion of Omaha Repair Hub based on the evidence and circumstances of each case.
